Sound Horticulture is an active member of the greenhouse and biocontrol industries. We are members and supporters of many great organizations, including those listed below. 

The Association of Natural Biocontrol Producers is a professional association representing the biological pest management industry. Augmentative biological control utilizes beneficial insects, mites and nematodes to manage agricultural, horticultural and plant pests.

The Cannabis Alliance is a non-profit, membership-based association of individuals, businesses, government officials, and non-profit organizations dedicated to the advancement of a sustainable, vital and ethical cannabis industry.

Flower Growers of Puget Sound (FGPS) is a non-profit industry trade association representing greenhouse and nursery growers of ornamental plants in the Pacific Northwest, and suppliers to the industry.

The purpose of the Flower Growers of Puget Sound is to support and promote excellence and professionalism among its members and the horticultural industry, and to work diligently to increase the fellowship, effectiveness, image and impact of its members and the horticultural industry in the Pacific Northwest.

Growing Solutions, Incorporated develops and distributes products related to sustainable agriculture. As an emerging technology provider, they offer systems used worldwide to produce crops without environmental harm. Growing Solutions specializes in compost tea equipment—including their patented Compost Tea Systems—appropriate for a wide range of industry uses.

Genie Lab helps growers, breeders, and nurseries ensure that their crops and plants are virus and pathogen free. They also provide genetic identification to ensure that farmers and consumers are confident in the varieties they are growing, and consuming.

In Harmony is a sustainable landscape company serving the Seattle and Puget Sound area since 1994. Their goal is to create and maintain landscapes that are healthy for people, pets and the planet. In Harmony services include landscape design and installation, natural lawn, tree and shrub care, pruning and fertilization. Their 100% natural, all organic approach focuses on building healthy soil, which is vital for plant health.

IPPS is a global network of plant production professionals, including those involved in horticultural research and education. IPPS aims to improve the knowledge, skills and professionalism of its members. IPPS members have access to educational conferences, field days, seminars and its vast library of horticultural knowledge, the combined proceedings of all annual conferences since 1951.

The Oregon Association of Nurseries (OAN) is a non-profit trade association that represents more than 700 individual nursery stock producers, retailers, landscapers and related companies serving the nursery and greenhouse industry.

The OAN is the main voice for Oregon’s nursery and greenhouse producers, re-sellers, transporters, retailers and suppliers. The OAN is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors with oversight by a seven-member Executive Committee. Day-to-day functions are managed by an executive director and a paid professional staff.

The Perennial Plant Association is a trade association composed of growers, retailers, landscape designers and contractors, educators, and others that are professionally involved in the herbaceous perennial industry. Perennial Plant Association members will have access to, education & events, a community of perennial plant industry professionals, information + promotional assistance supporting the Perennial Plant of the Year®, regular communications about the association & horticulture industry, and industry expertise

WSIA serves to unite Washington State’s Sungrowers and allow them to speak with a powerful voice at all levels of state government. WSIA works to inform entrepreneurs and educate lawmakers, locally and in Olympia, to the unique aspects and impacts of this new and evolving industry.

Washington State Nursery & Landscape Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the success of its members. By working together they protect, promote and educate the horticultural community of Washington State.
