 Stop Lygus pests with pheromone lures

Pheromones are chemicals used by insects and other animals to communicate with each other. Insects send these chemical signals to help attract mates, warn others of predators, or find food. Using specific pheromones, lures can be used to monitor and attract target pests.

Western Tarnished Plant Bugs, or Lygus Hesperus, are serious pests of many crops.

  • Change the lure every 21 days
  • Use with a red sticky trap (sold separately)
  • Do not cut, puncture or attempt to open the vial
  • Stick onto red sticky trap (see reference photo)
  • Hang the trap in early spring, just above the plants
