Neoseiulus californicus for spider mite control

Neoseiulus (Amblyseius) californicus is a very versatile predatory mite. It tolerates a wider range of temperatures and lower humidity than other predatory mites, adapting to temperatures between 50-105°F as long as relative humidity is over 65%.

• Does best in warm, humid conditions
• Tolerates lower humidity (40% RH )
• Feed on spider mites, broad mites, cyclamen mites, thrips and pollen.
• If a pollen source is available, they can survive at low pest densities.
• They can move easily through spider mite webbing.
• Organic pest control, safe, effective and non-toxic.

Application Rates

0.5-2 per square foot of crop canopy

Release Instructions

• Avoid releases of this biocontrol agent in temperatures below 45° F, above 90°F and during dry windy conditions.
• It is preferable to release beneficial mites early in the morning while humidity is high and the soil is not hot.
• Always release predators as soon as pest mites appear in the crop. Prevention is the key to success.
• Gently rotate the bottle and sprinkle onto the foliage of the crop.
